My name is Leticia Ponce.

After my husband passed away during COVID, I fell into a deep depression. I lost my job and didn’t have health insurance.

I learned about CHRISTUS Health Plan through a friend. We applied together, and both of us qualified.

Because I was a new patient, my doctor recommended several screenings, including a colonoscopy and a mammogram. Two days after my colonoscopy, I was told they had found a tumor.
